BIO
Elena Tsarenko is a passionate and determined singer who discovered her love for music through a series of choices and decisions. Her fascination with music began in childhood. At the age of seven, immediately after her first encounter with musical notes in a children's church choir in Almaty, her hometown, she started taking her first piano lessons from the choir director and pianist. However, at that time, music was just a pleasant hobby for her.
Later, following her father's advice, Elena dedicated herself to the exact sciences and graduated with honors from the Kaliningrad State College of Urban Planning with a specialization in "Software for Computer Technology and Automated Systems." She then graduated with honors from the Kaliningrad State Technical University with a degree in "Applied Informatics in Economics."
Parallel to her university studies, Elena returned to music, teaching herself to play the guitar and later taking her first lessons in classical singing. Starting with singing as a hobby, after two years of lessons, she was admitted to the Kaliningrad Regional Music College named after S.V. Rachmaninov, where she studied in the Vocal Art Department under the guidance of teacher Galina Vasilyevna Mizina. She successfully graduated from the college in 2016.
She collaborated as a soloist with several orchestras, including the Kaliningrad Symphony Orchestra conducted by Maestro A. Feldman, the wind orchestra of the S.V. Rachmaninov Music College conducted by Maestro N. Vekshin, and the Regional Orchestra of Russian Folk Instruments conducted by Maestro A. Stepanenko.
In her pursuit of perfection and professional growth, in 2016, Elena began preparing an opera repertoire with soprano Sabina Altamura (a soprano artist of the Rome Opera Theatre) and subsequently moved to Rome to continue her music studies.
She enrolled in the master's program at the Rome Conservatory of Santa Cecilia in the class of professor Alessandro Valentini. She graduated in 2020 with the highest honors. In 2021, she began studying chamber vocal music and re-enrolled in the master's program at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in the chamber music department under Maestro Amelia Felle. She graduated in 2024 with the highest honors.
Elena participated in master classes and advanced training courses with renowned maestros such as:
- Angelo Gabrielli, international opera agent and conductor;
- Gianluca Terranova, tenor;
- Francesco Meli, tenor;
- Ines Salazar, soprano;
- Eleonora Pacetti, head of the Young Artists Program of the Rome Opera Theatre;
- Eva Czvedberg, soprano, professor at the Rostock Conservatory, Germany;
